Product Shot 1 The Pros:"Easy" mode is excellent for casual users or beginners, automatically selects the correct mode for the conditions. Hitting the shutter button takes you out of viewing mode straight to shooting mode, fast switch. Capable macro mode for the price.

The Cons:Excessive chromatic abberation at wide angle end. Soft corners at telephoto. Above average geometric distortion (barrel and pincushion).

 The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W220 is a ultra-compact camera announced at the CES and released in April of 2009. With a 4X optical zoom lens that is equivalent to 30-120 mm, the camera is a good choice for a beginning photographer that wants a very small camera.
