The DSC-U10's 12-bit Digital EXtended Processor is able to capture the range from brightest white to deepest black with a range of up t0 4096 values, resulting in extended dynamic contrast and greater detail. Its Hole Accumulation Diode technology provides the DSC-U10 with superior image quality by allowing more light to pass to each pixel, resulting in increased sensitivity and reduced noise. Meanwhile, the DSC-U10's VGA Burst Mode allows for five 640x480 frames to be taken in quick succession, allowing for better capturing of fast action moments.
