It incorporates the "Exmor R" CMOS sensor and boasts stunning low-light performance, reducing grain by more than 50%, even without a flash. It has a 3" multi-purpose LCD touchscreen which allows you to select focus points, scroll through images and select various settings.  It can shoot HD movies with 720p resolution with MPEG4 format. The BIONZ image processor delivers high resolution and fast performance which enables Sweep Panorama Mode to create the wide panoramic image in the camera in just seconds and clear images in low light settings. The Optical SteadyShot image stabilization uses a built-in gyro sensor to automatically detect and correct camera shake to prevent blurring.  The Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode automatically detects 9 different scenes and the Intelligent AF quickly locks focus on your subject.
