Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S500

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S500 is a basic consumer digital camera. Images are captured in 6 megapixels, and the lens can zoom in to 3x. To make shooting easier, it has some easy to set white balance settings and scene modes to automatically compensate for various settings.

It also captures low-resolution video, and has a 2.4-inch LCD display.

This camera comes with 25 MB of internal memory, and can take Memory Stick media to store more pictures or longer video. Photos can be copied to a computer with a USB 2.0 port. It is powered by standard AA-size batteries.
