Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P41

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P41 is a midgrade point-and-shoot, compact digital camera geared strictly for non-professional use. As a step-up from the DSC-P31, the Cyber-shot DSC-P41 doubles the CCD sensor to 4MP, and increases the digital zoom to 3x.

Like its predecessor, however, the system lacks any optical zoom, even though it does host some custom control settings. On a positive note, it supports VGA videos up to 30fps; plus it’s not restricted to 15- or 30-second clips. Users can keep recording until their included 16MB Memory Stick (or 128MB optional) is entirely full. Included also is a 1.5” LCD display and a real optical image viewfinder; a slot for AA batteries; and a USB 2.0 interface.
