Sigma DP2s

The DP2s is a high-end compact digital camera from Sigma that offers a step-up from the company's standard DP2 model. Featuring Sigma's own "TRUE II" image processing engine, the DP2s is capable of producing photos that are of superior quality to the standard DP2 and require less time to process.

The camera also features a FOVEON X3 direct image sensor that claims to provide optimal clarity through faithful light and color capture. Both the image sensor and the lens of the camera are SLR-sized, and are therefore likely to perform greater than some other compact digital models. In addition, the DP2s offers a "Power Save" mode that allows users optimal shooting time.
