Part of a new crop of digital cameras announced by Samsung in mid 2008, the TL34HD (known as NV100HD outside of the USA) packs a whopping 14.7 megapixel CCD sensor into a compact digital camera. The 3.6x optical zoom lens has a maximum width of 28mm, a moderate wide angle that many compact digital cameras do not include.

Product Shot 2 The movie mode captures video in 720p high definition, and allows for use of optical image stabilization and optical zoom while shooting. The rear of the camera is dominated by a 3" LCD touchscreen, which Samsung claims makes interacting with the menu system faster and more intuitive.

Yale: #samsung_tl34hd This camera looks too good to be true - and I guess the devil's in the details. Still for the price I'd probably seek out this camera before any other point and shoot. Nov 3, 08
