The TL100 captures 12.4 megapixel high resolution photos, and records 800 x 592 resolution videos at 20 frames per second. The device is also equipped with unique automatic mode change technology which will allow users the option to remain worry free about photo capture modes and settings; the device will correctly choose between options for scenery or people and automatically adjust red-eye removal and smile detection settings. The camera can also capture the picture without the depress of the shutter button if the user deems fit; meaning it can detect if everyone fits in the picture and is smiling and automatically snap a photo. A 2.7" TFT LCD high quality and high resolution display screen allows users to monitor and review pictures taken. The lens has no optical zoom but does feature a 3x digital zoom; and when the lens is not included in the dimensions the entire unit is a mere 16mm thick. The TL100 is available in black or silver and will be released sometime in spring, 2009.
