The SL35's "Perfect Portrait System" auto-retouches photos on the fly by fixing red-eye, detecting blinking, evening skin tone and erasing blemishes or dark circles. Different level settings are available, allowing users to control how much retouching is applied. For those who want to shoot video, this camera can record basic 640 x 480 images at 30 fps.
