For simpler, point-and-shoot photo capture, theSL 201 comes with face detection, a self-portrait mode, 11 scene modes, an in-camera red-eye fix and digital image stabilization. With a maximum ISO of 1600, low-light situations can still offer usable images, although (as with virtually all digital cameras) some image noise may be an issue.
