Samsung S1000

The Samsung S1000 is a point-and-shoot digital camera from Samsung's entry level S Series.  The camera features a true-colour filtered 10.1-megapixel CCD image sensor with 3x optical and 10x digital zoom to produce high resolution images.

  It is capable of MPEG-4 video recording at 30 frames per second and offers a variety of photo effects including colouring, highlighting, photo frames, and composite effects.  The S1000 is designed with a 2.5" TFT LCD color display and an ergonomic grip which makes it comfortable to hold the camera for steady shots.  It includes 45MB of internal memory for storing photos and videos and has a built-in memory card slot for expanding the storage up to 2GB.  The camera operates on dual AA batteries and is available in both black and silver.  The S1000 differs from Samsung's S1030 since it has a higher digital zoom but a smaller LCD display than the S1030 and also lacks the manual function that comes with the S1030.
