Samsung NV40
$330.00
Released July, 2008
The Pros:Reasonably quiet camera when focusing and taking pictures. Good ISO range, works with some fairly low light and still gets good results. Has several shooting modes that make use for beginners much easier.
The Cons:Cover for the USB port is likely to snap off when you're putting the cord in. Big delay between the initial flash and the second one, making people think that the picture has been taken and they can move. Has lots of features that need exploring before you start shooting or it can be frustrating.
Like its lower-resolution sibling the NV30, the Samsung NV40 is a mid-range compact digital camera that offers a users their choice of point-and-shoot simplicity or more sophisticated image control than many of its competitors.
