The 2.8" LCD is intended to mimic the 3D effect the camera's dual lenses produce without the need for glasses, using "Parallax Barrier Display" technology. A button on the camera allows users to alternate between 3D and 2D shooting modes. In 2D mode, the camera features an 8x digital zoom. A digital image stabilizer and manual white balance adjustment function in both modes. Using the HDMI connection, buyers can view 3D images on large, 3D flat-panel televisions.
