It is among the cheapest and least feature-packed of the new Lumix models, but still offers a Leica lens (Leica glass is considered by many photographers and enthusiasts to be among the best available), optical image stabilization (one of the only cameras in the low-end price range with this feature) and many pre-programmed scene modes.
