Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS8
$130.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Zoom works great, good enough for most indoor situations. Image stabilization is excellent, more than accounts for a bit of handshake. Photos are bright and have realistic colors.
The Cons:Artificial lighting conditions come out with some funny lighting. Darker conditions result in some noise in the pictures.

As this camera is designed for beginner photographers, its built-in technology will automatically adjust internal settings to produce the best photos possible without the need for additional configuration. ISO settings and the shutter speed are also automatically controlled, which helps prevent blurry images from shaky hands and moving subjects. The 4x optical zoom can be combined with the digital zoom for a maximum of 28.4x, while the 2.7-inch LCD allows users to preview it all. Photos and videos can be recorded to the 50 MB of built-in memory, however SD/SDHC cards and MultiMediaCards are also compatible. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS8 is available in 4 different colors: black, silver, blue, green and pink.
