Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3
$180.00
Released March, 2008
The Pros:Easy to pick up and use without instruction. Video quality is sharp and clear, looks great on a HDTV. Camera automatically picks the best settings for any given setting, pictures come out great every time.
The Cons:Door for the battery is flimsy, easy to break off. Low light shooting is still pretty grainy, loose a lot of detail.
The simplest of the 3 new models recently introduced in Panasonic's FS line (FS3, FS5 and FS20), all of which were introduced as more affordable siblings to the FX line, the Panasonic Lumix DCM-FS3 puts 22 scene modes, optical image stabalization, a 3x optical zoom lens and image quality that many critics describe as better than average for the price range in a very small package.
