Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP7
$229.00
Released January, 2011
The Pros:Gets very large pictures that can be cropped down and zoomed in when you print. On-camera touch up features work well, take care of the most common problems. Optical image stabilizer works well, avoids blur from small movements of your hand.
The Cons:Lens isn't great, can't get extreme sharpness. Instructions aren't very clear and a lot of the settings on the camera are confusing. Facial recognition is inconsistent, doesn't always work.

A special Touch Shutter function focuses on the subject selected and releases the shutter either right away or when the command is given.
