Olympus Stylus 7000
$214.69
Released January, 2009
The Pros:LCD is big and bright, perfect for outdoor shooting. Picture quality is excellent, everything is sharp and lots of detail is clearly visible. Feels solid and well constructed, operates reliably.
The Cons:Works with microSD cards, which are a little expensive and harder to find than standard SDHC cards. Tends to drain the battery fairly quickly when you take video.
The Stylus 7000 is a 2009 release by Olympus that features compact 7x optical zoom and 12 Megapixel CCD. It includes Dual Image Stabilisation which reduces the unfortunate effect of camera shake and uses a feature called Beauty Mode which does the work of image editing software by smoothing out skin complections.
