With face detection, shadow adjustment, dual image stabilization, and 7x zoom, the Olympus Stylus 1020 is marketed as being a travel camera with picture control options. The image quality is above average with acceptable white balance. It does pretty well in terms of pictures for a compact camera, but professional photographers would be better off with a higher end camera.
