Olympus Stylus 1010

$280.00 Released March, 2008

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Better battery life than previous Stylus models, up to 100 more shots. Preset modes work better than on many entry-level models. Good picture clarity on macro and close-up shots.

The Cons:Indoor picture quality is noticeably grainier than competition. Image sensor seems inadequate for the 10 MP resolution, photos show noise as a result. Video clips at max quality can only be 10 seconds.

The Olympus Stylus 1010 is a compact camera designed for family, parties, and travel.  The camera, while not designed for professionals, does include enough complexity that it labels itself for "intermediate users" who want more flexibility and control over the pictures they take.
