Olympus PEN E-PM1

The Olympus PEN E-PM1 is a high-end compact digital camera similar to the Olympus PEN E-PL3. While lacking the E-PL3's ability to have its display tilted, the PEN E-PM1 sports a more compact design while retaining the same 12 megapixel Live MOS sensor and 3" high-resolution LCD display.

The PEN E-PM1 also sports Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology auto focus and 1080i video capture.

The PEN E-PM1's 12 megapixel Live MOS sensor features optimization for all mZuiko digital lenses as well as ISO 12,800 shooting and high quality 1080i video capture. Its 3" high-resolution LCD touchscreen display allows the PEN E-PM1 to provide a simple, sleek, touch-based user interface meant to simplify the whole picture-taking process. Meanwhile, the PEN E-PM1's Frequency Acceleration Sensor Technology auto focus provides auto focus claimed to be the fastest in the world by Olympus by way of 35 separate focus points on the sensor.
