Olympus' FE-46 is an entry-level point-and-shoot digital camera, and has similar features to the FE-26. The FE-46 has a slightly higher price point, but is still a budget camera. The main upgrades are in the optical zoom, which is 5x, and that it allows AVI video capture.

It also includes software that can automatically upload videos to a YouTube profile. The FE-46 has 20 preset shooting modes and a digital image stabilizer, as well as an automatic mode that selects from the various shooting modes depending on the situation. It has ISO speeds up to 1600 and autofocus tracking, which both help to minimize blurring and enhance clarity in moving or low-light images. This camera operates on AA batteries, can accept either XD memory or microSD cards (with an included adapter), and comes in four different colours. One other feature is an effects mode that digitally renders images in different artistic stylings (e.g. pinhole).
