The 12 megapixel resolution, quick start up time, short shutter-release time lag and all around optimized performance makes it easy to capture any moment with exceptional image quality. The Sport Continuous Mode offers the added benefit of shooting as many as 20 consecutive pictures at a rapid 11 frames-per-second to capture any moving action shot. There are four image stabilizing features which include Nikon's image sensor shift VR (vibration reduction) image stabilization, motion detection, ISO 6400 capability for quicker shutter speed and Nikon’s original BSS (Best Shot Selector) function automatically shoots a series of sequential frames and saves the one with the sharpest focus. The COOLPIX S630 is available in titanium silver, black, red and amethyst.
