Lytro

The Lytro is a high-end portable digital camera which utilizes light field technology which allows for infinite focusing of any picture after it is taken. It also features an 8x optical zoom lens with a constant f/2 aperture, an aluminum body, instant on and instant shutter for ultra-fast image capture.

Additionally, all images captured with the Lytro are inherently 3D, making each picture taken fully compatible with 3D displays.

The Lytro's light field technology captures the colour, direction and intensity of all light in a picture rather than just the light entering the lens like traditional digital cameras; this allows each picture to be focused and refocused after the fact as often as you want. Its light field technology also means that the Lytro has a practically instantaneous shutter speed since focusing beforehand is unnecessary. Meanwhile, the Lytro's aluminum body allows it to be both lightweight and sturdy.
