Product Shot 1 The Pros:LCD is very large and clear, easy to work with. Picture quality is very clear, great sharpness. Macro shots look great, can get very close to a subject.

The Cons:Heavy, bulky construction that can't be carried around casually. Controls aren't completely intuitive, take a little getting used to. Auto-focus struggles in low light conditions.

The Leica V-LUX 1 is a high performace digital camera offered by Leica and the first in Leica's V-LUX line. It comes equipped with a 12x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilization to give blur free shots even when zooming on subjects in the distance.

Product Shot 2 It is capable of up close macro shooting, wide angle views and super tele nature photos without needing to change the lens. It has a fast and precise autofocus and ultra fast image signal processor for a quick shooting response. It has a 10 megapixel image resolution and features a flip out 2" LCD screen to make shooting at awkard angles easier, and also has a flip out flash. It is powered by a 710mAh lithium-ion rechargeable battery that is stored in the grip, and is capable of shooting 360 pictures, which are stored to SD or SDHC cards. This camera is very similar in design to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50, with the addition of Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.
