Note the CMOS sensor, which is unique to a digital camera in that such sensors are typically used only in camcorders. Ultimately, this means the cam can be used to produce high quality images with reduced low noise at high ISO settings up to 12,800. The Max also records full 1080p videos. Additional features include optical image stabilization, a bevy of scene modes and artistic effects, built-in panorama functions, stereo speakers, and SD/SDHC expansion.

Only complaint so far is the delay between shots. I can work around that, since I don't generally shoot action shots.
