Kodak EasyShare C190

$130.00 Released September, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Easy to use menus. Affordable price. Powered by universal AA batteries - easy to find almost anywhere if you run out of juice.

The Cons:No instruction manual included, online manual is poorly written. Abysmal image quality - a standard for cheap Kodak digital point and shoots. Battery polarity engravings (+ and -) are mislabeled! Actually reversed!

The EasyShare C190 is a fairly basic, though affordable, consumer digital camera from Kodak. The 12MP C190 features 5x optical zoom, a step up from the 3x offered by the C182. It captures pictures, but not video, in 16:9 HD quality, and works with Kodak's Theatre HD Player accessory.

A 'Smart Capture' feature detects scene composition and conditions and adjusts camera settings accordingly. Other consumer-friendly features include automatic face detection and blur reduction, in part to compensate for the lack of image stabilization.
