GE E1680W

 GE's E1680W is an announced point-and-shoot digital camera, being released in February 2011. It is a mid-range model with features that make it a little more versatile than GE's entry-level models.

These include 8x optical zoom, automatic scene detection (choose from several preset modes), and a 3-inch LCD display. It also records HD video and can playback directly via an HDMI port. Compared to competitors' cameras, the form factor is also relatively thin for a long-zoom model. It will also include standard GE scene modes, its lens is 28mm wide-angle, and includes image stabilization. It will be available in black, silver, and red.
