FujiFilm FinePix S2500HD

$291.49 Released June, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Records video in 720p high definition. Mini HDMI output for easily displaying images and videos on compatible TVs and displays. Affordable price point.

The Cons:HD video re-focusing very slow. Facial recognition features delay the shutter reducing overall utility for moving shots. HD video surprisingly poor quality in artificial light, doesn't not look 720 due to substantial graininess.

The FinePix S2500HD is a higher-end point-and-shoot camera from FujiFilm. It is most notable for its 18x optical zoom lens, for which it sacrifices some portability. The S2500HD also features optical image stabilization and face detection, and is capable of recording 720p video.
