Full 1080p video recording capabilities include 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for proper cinematic emulation, with an optional HDMI connection kit available that includes a card reader and remote control for simplistic content navigation. Six independently-selectable "SR Auto" scene framing modes are available including "Portait", "Landscape", "Macro", "Night Portait" and more, with dedicated software functions for locating subject faces, preventing red-eye reflection and blinking, and detecting smiles. Auto-stitching provides users with the ability to create 360-degree panoramic images, while auto-focus tracking reduces blur when zoomed alongside the camera's Digital Image Stabilization. A number of automated "Scene Position" modes are offered for specific environments that include "Baby Mode", "Fireworks", "Beach", "Flower", and "Party", with a dually-functioning "Natural Light/With Flash" mode for capturing two versions of the same shot at once. Captured content can be quickly and easily navigated on the JV150's 2.7-inch monitor by date, time, scene and more, with "Micro Thumbnail View" able to display up to 100 pictures at a time.
