Fujifilm's FinePix F550EXR is a higher-end point-and-shoot digital camera released concurrently with the similar F500EXR. The two fit a similar market niche in that they have a compact form factor with a long telephoto zoom, improved processors and CMOS sensors over older long-zoom Fujifilm models, and a breadth of scene selections and automatic detection features.

The main upgrades over the F500EXR is that this model includes a GPS receiver that stamps photos with location data which can then be used to organize, navigate, or even determine distance to the spot where a given photo was taken. Another upgrade is an anti-blur function, best suited for telephoto or low-light shots, which stitches together four similar images to reduce blurring. The high ISO also helps in lowlight or telephoto situations. This model has a modest price increase over the F500.
