When compared, this camera lacks smile/blink detection and tracking auto focus. The FinePix AX250 includes a 5x optical zoom lens, a 14 megapixel sensor and sensitivity reaching ISO 3200. As a wide angle camera, users can take 16:9 photographs that show ample amounts of depth and scale. For beginner photographers, built-in digital image stabilization will reduce motion blurring caused by shaky hands. Scene recognition is performed automatically, with the camera choosing 1 of 6 scenes before applying settings to a photo. In addition to photographs, this camera can shoot 720p HD movies. An optional HDTV connection kit is available from Fujifilm, which allows for captured photos and videos to be displayed on a screen.
