Like its peers, it can capture high-definition video stills. It can also record 720p videos in AVI, and audio in WAVE. Besides its bevy of advanced photography functions like face detection and red-eye removal, the AV280/AV285 also boasts the ability to transmit content to an HDTV. Using this feature requires first purchasing an HDP-L1 adapter.
