 Canon's PowerShot SX120 is a lower-mid range digital camera that focuses on being easy to use while offering higher zoom capacity than the more compact PowerShot point-and-shoot models. It has a 10x optical zoom with built-in image stabilization, and uses Canon's DIGIC 4 Image processor that enhances image clarity, in particular in low-lighting scenarios.

It also has an "Easy Mode" that automatically selects from numerous pre-programmed shooting modes and optimizes image quality based on particular lighting situations. This is in addition to numerous user-selectable shooting modes. It has a 3.0-inch diagonal LCD screen to view images and take pictures. The SX120 has a larger form factor than the more compact PowerShot models, and uses AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery pack. The ISO speed ranges from 80 to 1600.
