This model is a step above from the entry line models, equipped with 10 Megapixel resolution, and DIGIC 4 Image Processor focused on improving portrait and group shots. The 4X Optical and 4X Digital Zoom found on this camera is not the strongest Canon puts out in the PowerShot line up. The compact size does not allow for a viewfinder, however there is a 3” LCD monitor, along with a built-in flash that has a Red-Eye Reduction feature. Keeping this unit small and light, at 155grams, is the rechargeable Lithium-ion NB-5L battery.
