Canon PowerShot SD870 IS

The PowerShot SD870 IS is a point and shoot digital camera from Canon, released in late 2007. Primary features include an 8 megapixel sensor, 3.8x optical zoom and a wide-angle 28mm lens. This camera comes equipped with a 3-inch LCD screen instead of an optical viewfinder.

The SD870 IS is powered by Canon’s DIGIC III image processor, which enables automatic redeye reduction. The integrated face detection technology automatically sets focus, exposure and flash settings automatically, allowing for photos to be taken without the need for any manual adjustments. A wide variety of selectable scene modes are also available, including Portrait, Snow, Beach Indoor and Night Snapshot. Numerous memory cards are compatible with the Canon PowerShot SD870 IS, including SD, MultiMediaCard and MMC variants.
