The A2000 IS is more streamlined, both physically and in terms of features. The slim camera features a 3" LCD monitor which takes up most of the camera back, leaving no room for a viewfinder (a feature that was previously included in all A-series, and is still found in the A1000 IS). Manual exposure controls are gone, replaced with what Canon calls an "easy mode" setting, indicating that they are nowtargeting novice photographers rather than hobbyists on a tight budget.
