Users can set up their shots using the built-in 3.0” LCD screen. This camera differs from the PowerShot A1100 IS by offering a marginally increased screen size, flash range and focus distance. Canon has implemented a “Smart Auto” mode with scene detection, which automatically adjusts focus, exposure, ISO sensitivity, flash, dynamic range and contrast to improve image quality. This camera also includes the ability to detect faces and automatically reduce red-eye so one does not have to spend as much time editing images afterwards. Users can also record standard-definition video with sound in addition to taking photos. The PowerShot A2100 IS is available in black finish only.
